Golf Tournament

CHAMP's 9th Annual Golf Tournament and Silent Auction was held June 1st, 2009 at beautiful Crystal Springs Quarry Golf Club in Maryland Heights, MO.. The weather was near-perfect for golf, with blue skies and a gentle breeze.
Our golfers started with an excellent BBQ Buffet before an afternoon of challenging golf on this picturesque course. Fun and games along the way included: Longest Drive, Closest to the Pin, Putting Contest, Skins, and, of course, our own very special CHAMP Fun Hole! (What's that, you ask?? Check out the photos of our Knight and all the Princesses!) Then back to the clubhouse for prizes for our winning teams and individuals, a Silent Auction, and a superb Fried Chicken Buffet, complete with all the trimmings!
Many thanks to all the golfers, donors, volunteers, and CHAMP staff who came out to support our mission. And thanks also to Mike Briner, Pro Shop Manager and Tournament Coordinator, and all the other friendly folks at Crystal Springs Quarry for making everyone feel so welcome.
And of course... thank you to CHAMP Tournament Chairdog Amber... she rules!
