CHAMP's 8th Annual Golf Tournament and Silent Auction was held June 2nd, 2008. The skies cleared in the midst of "monsoon season", and we had a great day for golf!

Our golfers and our sponsors raised $7,000 to help provide service dogs to people with disabilities! Thank you for your support!

We're already making plans for next year's tournament - June 1st, 2009 - and we hope you will ALL help in spreading the word. Encourage your friends and family to come out and have some fun, and help place a service dog!

Our venue this year was the beautiful Crystal Springs Quarry Golf Club in Maryland Heights, MO. The course was in great shape in spite of all the recent rain. Our golfers started with an excellent BBQ Buffet before an afternoon of challenging golf on this picturesque course.

We had fun and games along the way: Longest Drive, Closest to the Pin, Putting Contest, Skins, and, of course, our own very special CHAMP Fun Hole! (What's that, you ask?? Well, you're just going to have to check out the photos of our Knight and all the Princesses!) Then back to the clubhouse for prizes for our winning teams and individuals, a Silent Auction, and a superb Fried Chicken Buffet, complete with all the trimmings!

Many thanks to all the golfers, donors, volunteers, and CHAMP staff who came out to support our mission. And thanks also to Mike Briner, Pro Shop Manager and Tournament Coordinator, and all the other friendly folks at Crystal Springs Quarry for making everyone feel so welcome.

Last, but never least... thank you to CHAMP Tournament Chairdog Amber, forever the Princess - no, wait - make that "The QUEEN."
