C.H.A.M.P. Assistance Dogs, Inc.

C.H.A.M.P., Inc. screens all puppies and dogs entering our service dog-in-training program to ensure the animals are mentally and physically sound. In addition to puppies from our own breeding program, C.H.A.M.P., Inc. also acquires puppies and young dogs from:

• breeders
• loving family homes
• shelters and rescue groups

Our temperament evaluation process helps identify those animals that:

• have an affinity for people
• have a desire to please
• have the ability to handle training without undue stress

All of our animals are throughly screened for potential orthopedic or vision problems, plus other breed specific issues.

We use several breeds of dogs, including:

• Golden Retrievers
• Labrador Retrievers
• Standard Poodles
• Crosses, and other mixes
