C.H.A.M.P.ion Therapy Dog Teams help prepare our students who are waiting for their service dog.
The teams:
- Begin the learning process
- Cover basic canine management skills
- Cover basic grooming skills
- Cover basic canine health and wellness isues
- Give the students the opportunity for relaxed hands-on interaction with a dog in their own homes.
Visits by our Therapy Dog Teams allow us to spread the education process over several months, making the learning process less stressful and less physically tiring for our students.
As the education process progresses, our trainers will also begin visits with our students.
