Contact Us or call the C.H.A.M.P., Inc. office (314-653-9466) to schedule a presentation for your school, learning community, not for profit, or business.
We recommend the following schedule:
- 20 - 30 min. for Pre-school and 1st Grade
- 40 min. for 2nd - 5th Grades
- 45 min. - 1 hr. for Middle School - Adult
Allow a 5 minute break between presentations.
Please reconfirm the presentation schedule no later than 2 weeks before the CHAMP Dogs' visit.
We are proud of our volunteer Therapy Teams who make the Ability Awareness Program so successful and popular in the greater St. Louis area. They educate the very youngest to senior citizens in the schools, universities, and out in the community: teaching, communicating, and promoting understanding of all abilities.
Cost of Ability Awareness Education Program
All of our services have been free of charge from our founding in 1998: our service dog, pet therapy, and education programs. Everything. However, we now find we must charge for the cost of our pet therapy and education programs in order to keep the service dog program free for our clients receiving one of our assistance dogs.
The fee schedule for our Education Program is:
- $50.00 for groups of 50 of less
- $100.00 for groups of 51 or more
- $250.00 for all school assemblies/groups of 150 or more
The funds raised through these programs help to support our service dog program which raises, trains, and places dogs with children and adults with disabilities in the greater St. Louis area. Our service dog program is free of charge.
