Linda Yatkeman

Linda Yatkeman earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Fontbonne University and built a successful career in real estate, working alongside her late husband, Donald. Throughout her career and beyond, Linda has remained deeply committed to community service and philanthropy, supporting a variety of nonprofit organizations dedicated to strengthening the community.

Linda’s connection to CHAMP began through Murphy, the beloved rescue dog Donald brought home shortly before his passing. Murphy arrived at a pivotal time in Linda’s life, and together they completed CHAMP’s therapy dog certification program, becoming a registered therapy dog team. For many years, they visited organizations including the USO, Ranken Jordan Pediatric Bridge Hospital and the Children’s Library Reading Program providing comfort, companionship, and encouragement to those they served.

Inspired by the profound impact of the human-animal bond, Linda has served on CHAMP’s Board of Directors for the past nine years. She is dedicated to advancing the organization’s mission and helping expand its reach so more individuals can experience the healing, comfort, and connection that therapy animals provide. In her free time, Linda enjoys traveling, playing golf, and spending time with her family and friends.
