Become a Therapy Dog Team
Becoming a therapy dog team is a journey that turns everyday companionship into a powerful way to serve others. At CHAMP, we prepare you and your dog to confidently step into community spaces where comfort, connection, and calm are needed most.
Through structured training and guided support, you’ll learn how to work as a trusted team in a variety of environments—bringing encouragement to individuals in schools, hospitals, senior living communities, and public events.
Become a Whelper Helper
Whelper Helpers play a vital role in the early stages of an assistance dog’s life. They get specialized training to care for puppies the first 8 weeks of life. They monitor the mom’s health and the pups’ health and socialization during this growth period.
This is a great opportunity for individuals who want to be involved in mission-driven work without needing to bring their own dog.
