Dana Ruff, Placement Services Manager

As Client Partnership Manager, Dana Ruff works closely with individuals, families, and healthcare professionals to guide clients through the service dog placement process and provide ongoing support throughout the life of each partnership.
With extensive experience in relationship management, client services, and service dog training, Dana is dedicated to creating successful, lasting partnerships between highly trained service dogs and individuals with disabilities. Her work is centered on fostering positive client experiences while advancing CHAMP’s mission of promoting greater independence, confidence, and inclusion.
Dana began training with CHAMP in 2009 and joined the staff in February 2012. As an advanced service dog trainer, she combines technical expertise with a genuine commitment to helping each client develop a strong, effective bond with their assistance dog. Her unique blend of training knowledge and client-focused support makes her an invaluable resource for individuals and families navigating the service dog journey.
In addition to overseeing client partnerships, Dana works one-on-one with service dog students during the transfer process and serves as an ongoing source of guidance and support for clients throughout their partnership with their dog.
Dana also enjoys being a member of CHAMP’s instructional team, helping lead therapy dog classes and supporting teams as they build skills and confidence together.
