Pam Budke, Executive Director

Pam Budke has built a diverse career rooted in her passion for animals and her commitment to supporting children and adults with disabilities. She earned her degree in Corporate Communications from Lindenwood University while beginning her professional journey at SSD—Special School District, where she served as Assistant Administrator of Communications.

In 1997, Pam transitioned into nonprofit leadership, taking on roles that reflected her deep dedication to animal welfare. She contributed to the mission of the APA Adoption Center serving as the Director of Volunteers and Special Events and later served as Executive Director of the Wildlife Rescue Center in Ballwin, Missouri.

Pam joined CHAMP Assistance Dogs in November 2011 as Executive Director, a role that continues to energize and inspire her. She is continually moved by the transformative impact of the canine‑human bond—an essential foundation of every CHAMP program that touches thousands of lives throughout the community.
